Terms of use | Bulbul

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bulbul app (the “App”) and this website, operated by Endpoint Technology LLC (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using Bulbul, you agree to these Terms.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Bulbul on Apple devices that you own or control, in line with Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to your use of the App.

Parents and children

Bulbul is meant to be set up by a parent or guardian and used by their children. If you let a child use Bulbul, you are responsible for their use of it and for any purchases made from your Apple Account. Settings and purchases sit behind a parent gate, which is designed to stop young children, not to verify identity.

Subscriptions

Some lessons are free. An auto-renewing subscription unlocks the rest of the course.
The price and billing period are shown in the App before you confirm a purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Subscriptions are sold and managed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Learning content

Bulbul is a learning aid. We work hard to make its Urdu natural and correct, but language varies between families and regions. Bulbul does not grade pronunciation or promise how quickly anyone will speak Urdu. If something sounds off, please tell us.

Acceptable use

Use Bulbul only for lawful, personal purposes. Don't try to copy, reverse-engineer, disrupt or misuse the App, its artwork, audio or services.

Intellectual property

The App, its design, characters (including Bulbul), artwork, audio and lesson content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. These Terms don't give you rights to our names or branding. The press kit may be used for writing about Bulbul.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Bulbul is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
