Tell us your device (iPhone or iPad), iOS version and what happened. Please don't send recordings of your child.
Subscriptions
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Bulbul, go to the parent area (it asks a grown-up question first) and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, choose Bulbul and tap Cancel. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Speaking practice
Bulbul doesn't seem to hear my child
Bulbul needs microphone access. If it was turned off, open Settings → Bulbul → Microphone and switch it on. Lessons still work without the microphone; speaking steps can always be skipped.
Why does Bulbul only say “I heard you”?
Bulbul checks spoken Urdu using Apple's on-device Urdu speech recognition. Where your iPhone or iPad doesn't offer it yet, or a grown-up has switched the check off, Bulbul still listens and encourages your child, without checking the Urdu. Either way, nothing is uploaded.
Your family's data
Where is progress stored?
On your device. Bulbul has no accounts and no cloud sync. In the parent area you can save a family backup file and restore it later, for example on a new iPad. Backups contain profiles and learning history, never voice recordings.
How do I remove a learner or reset?
In the parent area, open Learners to add, switch or delete a learner without touching their brothers and sisters. Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device.

A word sounds wrong, or my family says it differently
Please tell us. Urdu varies from family to family, and we review every report. Include the word and where you heard it.
